A grasshopper walks into a bar, and the bartender says: "Hey, we've got a drink named after you!", to which the grasshopper replied: "Why would anyone name a drink Bob?"



This is a joke based on a misunderstanding. The grasshopper (perhaps intentionally) misunderstands what the bartender is saying. Perhaps he has heard this joke too many times, and is trying to cause trouble? Perhaps he thinks that the bartender was prejudiced against talking bugs, and is showing him that bugs are people too.
