What rhymes with orange

My friend says to me: "What rhymes with orange"
I said: "no it doesn't"

This is a joke about a miscommunication. The miscommunication in the joke was probably intentional, however, there are two parsings of the initial question: "What [word] rhymes with orange[?]", and "[The word] what rhymes with the word orange[.]" Since spoken sentences do not provide punctuation, it is possible that the confusion could occur.

However, normal English speakers would almost certainly parse it in the first way, not the second.
