I just read a list of “100 Things To Do Before You Die”...
I was quite surprised that “Yell for help” wasn’t one of them.

The humor in this joke comes from the fact that the jokester misunderstood the meaning of the article that they read - the article was intended to list things that one would want to make sure to do during their life, and the jokester assumed that it was a list of things that the reader would want to do in case they were going to die (in order to attempt to prevent it).
