This is a meme about cats and coronavirus. The implication in this meme is that cats are evil and that they want to kill and/or cause pain and discomfort to humans.

Since people are freaking out about coronavirus so much right now, it is believable that studies would be done to determine if cats could spread coronavirus. The surprising and funny part is the part after the comma - How did they determine that the cats would want to spread the virus? It is pretty silly to think that they were able to talk to the cats and just ask them if they wanted to spread coronavirus.

The image of the cat also makes the cat look a bit disgruntled, or like it is plotting, which adds to the humor a bit.

As far as coronavirus memes go, this is a pretty good one - I chuckled a bit when I first saw it.
